Saying hello to a random person is one of the most gratifying things for me to do. It's instant happiness. Don't you feel amazing whenever you are having a shitty day and some random guy in the street smiles at you and wishes you a happy day? or when a homeless person tells you: "I like your shoes" when you pass by. That's like a punch in the face to me. It shows how you can always be a better person and full of happiness NO MATTER WHAT. Sometimes we worry about very stupid things instead of worrying about happiness. When you worry about a stupid thing you are automatically making yourself miserable.

I used to see this man that I'm in the picture with everyday on my way to the gym. I don't even remember how it happened but we starting saying hello to each other.

I tend to say hello to people with a kiss on the cheek. This is a habit I have. I don't know if I got it from Venezuelans or Uruguayans, but I've done it all my life. No matter who you are, if I say hello to you, I will give you a kiss in the cheek. This brought me some uncomfortable situations in Colombia and the US, where people are more formal and distant, but it's so hard for me not do it! Its like an automatic action of my soul and body.

I stopped seeing this man for a while. I suppossed he was not working anymore at that parking lot I used to see him. But this past Wednesday, I was walking home with my mom after going to the gym, and I ran into this man again. We couldn't belive that we were seeing each other again! We hugged and kissed as if we were family and it was such a special moment. He told my mom I was an angel, and that was enough for me to hug him even more. He even told me that he wants to be my "bodyguard" or "driver" when I become a famous actress.

I don't even know his name or where he's from but I'm sure he's not American or Latino. After a 10 minute talk I asked him for a picture and he was fascinated. We said googbye and he said that one day he would like to invite mom and me to have coffe, and that the coffe was going to be on him.

Life is full of incredible and magical moments like this. Of course you always have to be careful when you are on the streets and you talk to "strangers," but try not to lose this special situations. If someone talks to you and says something nice, don't keep walking and ignore that person, just reply with a nice comment instead, and then keep going. Happiness is find in the simple things of life...

Be a better person everyday!

Love, and happy Sunday!
