Martina Lavignasse 

is a Latina actress, born in Uruguay and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She took her first steps into acting at the young age of twelve with a theater group called Colibrí, located in the Caracas Theater Club. After her first successful performance, Martina got the lead roles for both Alice in Wonderland and The Little Mermaid.  She also had challenging roles in productions like Platero and I and Peter Pan but had to move to Colombia with her family shortly after.

 

In Colombia she was part of Misi Producciones, the most recognized Musical Theater Academy in Bogotá.  

In Venezuela, she was part of a dance academy, Ímpetu, and selected for their company “Hip Mini Junior” – a group that later went on to win a National Dance Competition called Desafío Al Movimiento. She also trained at the famous SOCAPA (School of Creative and Performing Arts) in New York, for a three-week Contemporary Intensive; and in Ballibay, a fine and performing arts camp, performing in two plays and several dances.

 

Martina studied at the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts – where famous actors like Robert Reford, Kim Katrall, Jessica Chastain and Danny Devito started as actors – she earned her Associates of Arts degree.

In 2018 she moved to Miami to be part of Club 57, the latest Nickelodeon TV Show that was a success on Netflix, and in 2020 went back to Colombia to film the second season of the show.

Martina is currently the lead actress of Así de Simple, an Argentinian comedy that was brought to Miami and has made three successful season already.
